The Academy where knowledge is plentiful and learning is fun!
The Academy of ELCC is a licensed child care facility that has served Somerset County with their child care needs for over twenty years. We are conveniently located near public schools, Rutgers University, Robert Wood Johnson, and St. Peters hospital.
Working in partnership with ELCC and families, we are dedicated to students by providing a caring environment where they’re encouraged to develop a personal relationship with Jesus by:
- Striving for academic excellence
- Grow spiritually, mentally, physically, and socially.
The Academy offers a year-round child care service for required daycare ages – kindergarten using the A Beka curriculum to develop and educate children. In addition to our quality care program we offer affordable rates and family discounts:
- Separate wing for infants.
- First floor are the 19 month old through two years.
- Second floor has eight classrooms which allow smaller class sizes. Students age three through five years old are identified by their school uniform.
- The gymnasium and the gated playground help to promote healthy bodies and social interaction among students and staff.
- The Academy has an onsite commercial kitchen staffed with a dietician who encourages healthy eating by providing breakfast and lunch.
- The library also serves as our media center equipped with video and audio technology, and high-speed Wi-Fi.
We promote literacy starting at the infant level. As a result, we have a library with items donated by Piscataway High, and Miss Iyana (The Giving Bookshelf.)
